Gwynn Oak, MD (October 20, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on Friday night at approximately 9:30 PM at the intersection of Liberty Road and Brubar Court. Baltimore County police officers responded to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim, 52-year-old Jose Rivas, was crossing Liberty Road when he was struck by two vehicles: a 2014 Dodge Ram and a 2017 Nissan Altima. Both drivers remained at the scene following the collision. Emergency medical personnel arrived promptly but unfortunately pronounced Rivas deceased at the scene.
