Hanford, CA (November 21, 2023) – A severe two-vehicle collision in Hanford claimed the life of a 71-year-old man, as reported by the CHP. The fatal incident occurred on Monday, November 20, around 9:22 a.m. at the crossroads of 14th Ave and Fargo Ave. The driver of a Hyundai, heading east on Fargo Ave, stopped at the intersection. Concurrently, a Ford F350 approached from 14th Ave. The Hyundai then entered the intersection, colliding with the Ford.
The forceful impact caused the Hyundai to veer southeast, crashing into a power pole. Emergency responders discovered an unconscious passenger in the Hyundai.
The 71-year-old man was rushed to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Details about the crash’s cause are still under investigation.
