Hanford, CA – Three Injured in DUI Crash at Hwy 198 & 12th Ave

Hanford, CA (November 19, 2023) – A DUI-related crash on Friday, November 17, resulted in three injuries in Hanford. The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. at Highway 198 and 12th Ave. Mark Barboa, 68, ran a red light and collided with an Audi.

The Audi’s 19-year-old driver and their 16-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries and were hospitalized. Barboa sustained a broken hip and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The accident remains under active investigation to determine the full details of the event.
