Hayward, CA (September 18, 2023) – A man lost his life in a hit-and-run involving three vehicles early on Sunday, September 17, 2023.
The tragic incident occurred around 12:50 a.m. near the 27000 block of Huntwood Avenue.
Upon arrival, first responders located two vehicles at the crash site.
The driver of one car was found unconscious and was declared dead on the scene.
A passenger in the same car escaped injuries.
The second vehicle’s sole occupant remained unharmed.
Authorities found the third hit-and-run vehicle abandoned nearby, with the driver missing.
The investigation is still ongoing.
