Henrico, VA (November 21, 2022) – Several people were left injured following a major motor vehicle crash that took place on Sunday in Henrico. Just after 7:20 p.m., on November 20, the Virginia State Police responded to a major collision on Interstate 295.
According to reports, a collision between vehicles occurred near mile marker 31 on Interstate 295. Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. Several vehicles overturned as a result of the accident, trapping multiple victims inside.
Three extrication units were requested at the scene to remove victims from their vehicles. A total of five ambulances were requested to render aid to victims and transport them to area hospitals.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
