Henry County, GA ( July 24, 2023) – On Saturday, July 22nd, 2023, a tragic multi-vehicle crash occurred just before 3 a.m.
The collision involved a pickup truck, a Nissan, and a Lexus, resulting in two fatalities and one serious injury.
The pickup truck, driven by Elias Robles, 49, from Garland, Texas, experienced a mechanical failure, leading to a collision with a barrier.
After the crash, Robles and passengers Angelica M. Munoz-Luna, 49, and Adamaris Castillo, 22, also from Garland, Texas, exited the vehicle.
Munoz-Luna and Castillo were tragically struck and killed by another car after leaving the pickup truck.
Elias Robles suffered severe injuries in the incident.
The drivers of the Nissan, Tevin Riley, 31, from Perry, and the Lexus, Dinhduc Le, 31, from Morrow, were suspected to be under the influence at the time of the crash.
Authorities confirmed that only one car hit the pedestrians, while the other vehicle was involved in the initial collision with the pickup truck.
Both crashes are still under active investigation, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances and factors that led to this devastating incident.
