Henry County, MO (January 1, 2025) – A collision involving fallen cargo occurred Tuesday afternoon on Route C, west of 1001 in Henry County, resulting in injuries to one individual. The incident was reported around 2:40 PM, prompting local emergency services to respond.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash involved a 2019 Lincoln MKT driven by a 68-year-old female from Butler, MO, and an unidentified vehicle pulling a trailer. The unidentified vehicle, traveling westbound, lost its cargo on a curve. The fallen cargo struck the eastbound Lincoln MKT, causing minor damage. The Lincoln was towed from the scene by Gary’s Tow, while the other vehicle was driven away.
The driver of the Lincoln, who was wearing a safety device, sustained injuries but declined immediate medical transport, indicating she may seek treatment later. The identity of the driver of the westbound vehicle remains unknown as further investigation continues.
