Hesperia, CA (July 20, 2020) – A collision reported Sunday afternoon left one person with serious injuries in the Hesperia area. At 12:10 p.m., on July 19, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Amargosa Road.

Reports from CHP show that a motorcyclist was riding down Amargosa Road when their vehicle collided with a Ford Flex at the intersection with Key Pointe Drive.

The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the collision. The injured rider was rushed to Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville for treatment. The driver of the Ford remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. The circumstances surrounding the cause of the collision remain under investigation at this time.
