Highland Mills, NY (November 20, 2022) – Two people lost their lives and five people sustained injuries in a truck crash in Highland Mills. The incident occurred between a truck and a van on State Route 32 on Wednesday, November 9.
Officials in Highland Mills state that the wreck occurred when a Ford Ecoline van and a box truck were involved in an accident under conditions that remain unclear. Paramedics and fire crews were sent to the crash scene in order to render aid.
The box truck’s driver and the driver of the van both lost their lives due to their injuries. Five other individuals present inside the van at the time of the accident sustained serious injuries in the crash.
