Hill City, KS (September 19, 2023) – A pedestrian accident occurred at the intersection of U24 and U283, also known as 4th Avenue and Main Street, on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 11:30 a.m.
Timothy James Cameron, 63, of Hill City, drove a 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche southbound on U283.
Turning left onto U24, he hit Nathan Phillip Schmidt, 46, from Hill City, in the crosswalk.
Schmidt sustained injuries and was transported to Graham County Hospital.
Meanwhile, Cameron appeared uninjured.
Details regarding the cause of the accident have yet to be clarified.
The investigation is still ongoing.
