Holbrook, NY (September 19, 2023) – A tragic incident occurred at 8:25 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023, on Holbrook Road near Vacation Court.
Thomas Heckman, 66, from Holbrook, was crossing Patchogue Holbrook Road when a 2022 Volvo sedan, heading southbound, struck him.
Sadly, Heckman did not survive the collision.
Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
The investigation is still ongoing.
