Holly Springs, MS (September 18, 2023) – A tragic accident on Saturday, September 16, 2023, claimed the life of a Chickasaw County woman on Interstate 22.
As per Mississippi Highway Patrol, an eastbound SUV struck a van parked on the interstate’s eastbound shoulder.
The collision resulted in the death of Madison Lindley, 29, who was riding in the SUV. There were no other reported injuries.
Located north of Oxford, the incident shocked the local community.
The investigation is still ongoing.
