Hollywood, CA (September 19, 2023) – Elder Bardales, 57, was fatally struck by a car around 10 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, on Highland Avenue near Fountain Avenue.
The Los Angeles Police Department reported the incident.
Bardales was crossing Highland Avenue when the car hit him.
He died at the location of the accident.
The driver fled the scene but police arrested them soon after.
The specific cause of the crash hasn’t been identified.
The investigation is still ongoing.
