At approximately 2:30 p.m., the Hopkinsville Police Department responded to the scene of a collision involving two SUVs in front of the Subway restaurant.
According to police reports, the incident took place when a southbound SUV, driven by 80-year-old Nancy Humphreys, was struck by another SUV exiting a parking lot. The vehicle was operated by 56-year-old Vicky Olson of Hopkinsville, who reportedly pulled into the path of Humphreys' vehicle, leading to the collision.
Emergency responders from Hopkinsville were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance. Both Nancy Humphreys and her passenger, 78-year-old William Humphreys, were transported to Jennie Stuart Health for medical evaluation and treatment following the incident.
