Houston, TX (September 13, 2023) – A significant seven-vehicle collision occurred on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, around 8:30 p.m. in northwest Harris County.

The crash occurred in the 6900 block of Highway 6 and FM 529.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has closed all northbound lanes on Highway 6 between Smithstone Drive and FM 529.

Motorists are currently rerouted.

While the deputy remained unharmed, HCSO Captain D Wine confirmed that several individuals were sent to the hospital for checks.

The investigation is still ongoing.
