Huntington Station, NY (May 23, 2023) – A motorcyclist was left injured as a result of a car crash that occurred in the Huntington Station area.
The accident was reported during the afternoon hours on Tuesday, May 23.
Reports provided by the police indicate that a motorcycle and a second vehicle collided in front of the Dunkin’ Donuts located on East Jericho Turnpike. The impact of the crash caused the motorcycle to spin out and strike a second vehicle. Authorities arrived at the scene and located a motorcycle at the scene with significant damage and debris scattered all over the roadway.
The police shut down Jericho Turnpike near Longfellow Drive as they worked to clear the scene.
A helicopter was dispatched to the site of the accident to transport the motorcyclist to a local hospital for emergency care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
