Huntsville, MO (July 27, 2023) – On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, a man sustained serious injuries after crashing his truck on Route C near the northern city limit of Huntsville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Huntsville’s 46-year-old Joseph Black drove southbound on Route C in his 2018 GMC 1500 when the crash occurred.
The truck veered off the left side of the roadway, striking a culvert, and overturned, ejecting Black from the vehicle.
Following the crash, Randolph County ambulance transported Black before he was airlifted to University Hospital for medical treatment.
Unfortunately, the truck was totaled, and the crash report notes that Black was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
The investigations are underway.
