Irvine, CA (September 17, 2025) – Multiple individuals were reportedly injured in a traffic collision Tuesday night in the Spectrum area of Irvine, according to emergency dispatch information.
The crash occurred around 9:20 p.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 5 just south of Sand Canyon Ave. First responders were dispatched to the scene following reports of a multi-vehicle collision blocking lanes in the area. Medics from Orange County Fire Authority worked quickly to evaluate and assist the injured parties on-site, while several victims were transported for further medical treatment.
Initial details from the scene suggest that at least two vehicles were involved, but the extent of the damage and the total number of people hurt has not yet been confirmed. The crash led to significant traffic delays as lanes were temporarily shut down to allow emergency crews safe access.
