Jackson, MS (July 25, 2023)- At approximately four in the morning on Tuesday, July 24, 2023, a vehicle traveling south on the I-55 frontage road struck and fatally injured a pedestrian near Edgewood Terrace Drive.
At the scene, Captain Jacquelyn Thomas announced that the pedestrian had been fatally injured.
The driver remained at the accident scene and was not injured in any way.
The relevant authorities have opened an investigation into the incident.
