Jamaica, NY (May 24, 2023) – The New York Police Department and local firefighters responded to the scene of an accident in the Jamaica section of Queens that left one person injured.
The crash was reported to officials at around 445 p.m. on May 21.
Police reports indicate that three SUVs and two sedans collided on 180th Street during the early evening hours. The police determined that one of the involved vehicles made an improper turn, resulting in the accident taking place.
One person was injured as a result of this crash. The police shut down 180th Street near 104th Avenue while providing assistance. The injured victim was provided care at the scene and transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
