Janesville, WI (September 18, 2023) – A motorcyclist died, and another sustained injuries in an accident on Saturday afternoon in Janesville.
The motorcyclists were heading south on South Garfield Avenue when one hit a parked car at East Court Street.
Another motorcyclist then struck the first one.
Emergency teams responded to the scene just before 3 p.m.
One motorcyclist succumbed to the injuries, while the other was treated at a local hospital and released.
Authorities had not disclosed the drivers’ names by Saturday evening and closed the intersection temporarily.
The investigation is still ongoing.
