Jefferson City, MO ( July 22, 2023) – Two people were hurt Thursday night, July 21, 2023, in a collision involving three vehicles and a semi-truck.
Camryn Swinfard, 19, and Cody Faingnaert, 35, were sitting in traffic near a construction zone at 8:57 p.m.
Swinfard’s car was rear-ended by Martha Nolt, 65. Swinfard’s car left the road and collided with a median cable.
After Nolt’s car crashed into the semi-truck, it started on fire.
One more car was slightly damaged by debris from Nolt’s.
Both Nolt and Swinfard suffered moderate wounds and needed medical attention.
Both Faingnaert and Katelynn Smith, who is 21, walked away unscathed.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and seatbelts restrained all four drivers.
