Johnson City, TN (July 26, 2020) – A car accident involving at least two vehicles and causing injuries took place on Friday, July 24th off of Cash Hollow Road in Johnson City.

At around 5:53 p.m., officers from the Johnson City Police Department and an emergency rescue crews were both dispatched to the collision site in the 200 block of Mosier Road, near the Simms Road intersection.

Upon arrival, medical personnel medically evaluated the crash victims and gave the proper emergency treatment or transportation to the injured victims. Details have yet to be provided concerning exactly how many victims there were and what type of injuries were involved.

JCPD officers assisted in clearing the vehicle wreckage from the roadway, collecting witness statements, and opened an investigation in order to determine cause and liability for the collision.

The accident is still under police inquiry at this time.
