Joppa, MD (December 25, 2022) – Emergency officials in Joppa responded to the scene of a traffic accident that took place on Friday evening that left one person injured. At around 4:45 p.m., on December 23, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of an accident on Mountain Road.
According to authorities, a collision between vehicles took place in the 1200 block of Mountain Road. The impact of the crash caused at least one vehicle to roll over and come to rest on its roof.
Firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and secured Mountain Road between Philadelphia Road and Old Mountain Road.
Firefighters utilized the Jaws of Life to extricate the victim from the vehicle. The injured party was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
