Kalamazoo, MI (September 13, 2023) – A crash between an SUV and motorcycle near East Romence Parkway injured two on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Around 4:50 p.m., the collision happened close to the intersection with South Westnedge Avenue.

A 31-year-old local man rode the motorcycle, and a 76-year-old woman from Kalamazoo drove the SUV.

Both vehicles collided near the intersection.

Both drivers sustained injuries and received hospital treatment, but their conditions were not life-threatening.

Portage and Kalamazoo officials continue their investigation into the crash’s cause.

The investigation is still ongoing.
