Kansas City, MO – Crash at 75th St and Holmes Rd; 2 Police Officers Injured

Kansas City, MO (July 17, 2023) – On Sunday night, July 16, 2023, two Kansas City police officers were seriously injured in a crash at 75th Street and Holmes Road.

A marked KCPD vehicle driving westbound on 75th with lights and sirens assisted other officers pursuing a felony vehicle.

A southbound red Nissan Frontier collided with the police car.

The vehicle’s two police officers were taken to nearby hospitals by the KCPD Accident Investigation Section.

Both officers were stable Monday morning.

The Frontier driver was unharmed. Crash investigators are KCPD.
