Kennett, MO – Collision on County Rd 401 Injures Two

Kennett, MO (November 20, 2023) – A collision with a deer on County Road 401, 2 miles west of Kennett, resulted in injuries for two local residents on Sunday, November 19. At around 5:25 PM, a 2020 Can-Am Defender, driven by Donald J. Collins, 56, struck a deer, then veered off the road and hit a tree.

Mary G. Collins, 21, suffered moderate injuries, while Donald sustained injuries. Both were wearing safety devices and were transported by ambulance to St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing to determine further details.
