Kennewick, WA (December 5, 2024) – A woman tragically lost her life after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of W 10th Ave and S Johnson St, close to Fred Meyer, on Tuesday evening. The accident occurred shortly after 7 p.m., and police are actively investigating the circumstances.
Initially, authorities reported that the driver involved in the collision fled the scene. However, it was later confirmed that the driver pulled over further down the road and contacted 911 to report the incident. The woman was transported to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
