Kinderhook, NY (January 22, 2021) – Authorities have now reported a two-vehicle accident that left one person injured on Tuesday night, January 19th. The crash was reported at around 8:27 p.m. on Route 9H in the town of Kinderhook.

According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Easha Khanman, of Bethlehem, was operating a 2017 Honda Civic northbound when a 2011 Toyota Camry, operated by 25-year-old Shane A. Morris, of Valatie, attempted to make a left turn into a driveway. Morris failed to yield to the Civic and triggered the collision near Wagon Wheel Drive.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene where they transported Khanman to nearby Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Morris was uninjured during the crash.

There has been no further information reported at this time.
