King William County, VA (May 25, 2023) – On Tuesday, emergency officials were called to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in King William County.
At approximately 7:45 a.m. on May 23, officials were notified that a crash occurred on Richmond Tappahannock Highway.
Reports from authorities indicate that multiple vehicles collided on the roadway during the morning hours. The Virginia Department of Transportation reported extensive delays in the area near the King William Road exit.
Emergency officials went to work quickly on clearing the roadway.
Medical personnel responded to care for victims who suffered injuries. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
