Knoxville, TN (September 13, 2023) – A traffic accident disrupted Pellissippi Pkwy’s flow on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, The crash occurred around 4:51 p.m. Eastern Time, close to the Westland Dr. exit.

This incident resulted in the eastbound lane’s left side and shoulder closure.

Consequently, the congestion extended beyond the I-40 entrance and exit ramps.

Details regarding the cause or involved parties remain undisclosed at this time.
