LaBelle, FL (December 4, 2024) – A tragic fatal accident occurred at a worksite near Palm Beach Boulevard in LaBelle on Tuesday morning. A man lost his life after becoming trapped inside a concrete auger, a heavy machinery device used for construction. Emergency responders arrived on the scene promptly, but unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead due to the severity of the accident.
Hendry County Fire and Rescue responded to the scene, and efforts to extricate the victim from the machinery were carried out, but despite their best efforts, the man’s injuries were fatal.
