Lake City, MN (March 19, 2025) – A collision involving two vehicles on Highway 61 in Goodhue County resulted in injuries on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 3:52 p.m. near Milepost 76 when a southbound Toyota Sienna collided with a northbound Chevy Traverse. Emergency responders, including the Lake City Ambulance and Lake City Police Department, arrived on the scene to assist those injured in the crash.
The drivers of both vehicles sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Chevy Traverse, identified as 57-year-old Tracy Ann Kinneman of Hager City, WI, was transported to Lake City Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Toyota Sienna, 60-year-old Maymie Irene Hagedorn of Lake City, MN, was taken to Saint Mary’s Hospital. Additionally, a passenger in the Toyota Sienna, 53-year-old Mark Davis Muenzhuber of Lake City, MN, was also transported to Lake City Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities confirmed that all individuals involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, and no alcohol was involved. The roadway was reported to be dry at the time of the collision. Officials continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.
