Lake George, NY – One Killed in Auto Accident on I-87 near SR-9N

Lake George, NY (July 8, 2023) – One person reportedly lost their life after a car crash happened on Monday morning, July 3. 

Oleg Agranovsky, age 67, was driving a 2017 Volkswagen sedan when he was involved in a collision with a 2010 Chevrolet SUV operated by a 47-year-old person from Connecticut. The SUV was headed east on State Route 9 North at the time. 

A passenger in the sedan, identified as 94-year-old Stenya Agranovsky, sustained serious injuries in the crash. She was taken to Glens Falls Hospital, where she later lost her life. 

Four others involved in the crash were treated for injuries at local hospitals. Investigators continue to work on determining how the collision happened.
