Lakewood, CO (September 18, 2023) – A 17-year-old driver lost his life after crashing through multiple fences and a home early Sunday.

The incident took place after midnight near S. Jellison Court and W. Kentucky Drive, south of Addenbrooke Park.

The teen’s vehicle plowed through several yards before colliding with a house’s side.

Fortunately, the home was empty during the accident.

The young driver succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities haven’t disclosed his identity yet.

No other passengers were in the vehicle, and no other injuries were reported.

Investigators are examining speed, alcohol, or drugs as potential factors.

The investigation is still ongoing.
