Las Vegas, NV – Passenger Killed in Crash at Sands Ave & Las Vegas Blvd

Las Vegas, NV (August 4, 2020) – A woman was killed and two others injured following a deadly single-vehicle collision in Las Vegas on Monday, August 3, when at around 9 a.m, the driver of a vehicle lost control and crashed into a wall. 

At this time, the cause of the crash is still unknown. Authorities responded to the site of the crash near the intersection of Sands Avenue and S. Las Vegas Boulevard. According to initial reports, the driver was traveling westbound on Sands Avenue at a high rate of speed approaching S. Las Vegas Boulevard at the time of the accident. 

There were three occupants inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. The driver was reportedly unlicensed. Both the driver and an adult occupant in the rear suffered injuries in the crash. Both were transported to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. 

The female passenger in the front seat sustained fatal injuries. She was later pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. No further information on the crash is available at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
