Leeman, WA (November 29, 2023) – In a tragic early morning crash on Indian Ocean Drive, promising AFL player Jordan Culley, 17, lost his life on Tuesday, November 28. The accident occurred south of Leeman, roughly 250km from Perth. Culley was driving a white Toyota LandCruiser, which veered off the road and rolled multiple times at 5:10 a.m.
Culley, only 18 days from his 18th birthday, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. An 18-year-old woman, also in the car, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital. Two male passengers, aged 16 and 20, received urgent care at Jurien Bay Hospital.
