Lewiston, ID (September 18, 2023) – A motorcycle accident on Sunday, September 17, 2023, resulted in the death of one and serious injuries to another.
At around 1:20 p.m., authorities rushed to a crash at 14th Street and 14th Avenue.
James Weese, 25, of Orofino, lost control of his 2018 Yamaha motorcycle.
The bike hit a parked car, ejecting Weese and passenger Alyssa Slusher, 24, of Lewiston.
Both, wearing helmets, were taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Slusher later died from her injuries.
Due to severe injuries, medics airlifted Weese to Spokane.
14th Street was shut for over three hours.
The investigation is still ongoing.
