Lexington, KY – Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Vehicle Collision on E. New Circle Rd

Lexington, KY (November 21, 2023) – A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car on Sunday night, according to the Lexington Police Department. The incident occurred at 9:41 PM in the 200 block of E. New Circle Road.

Lt. Meredith Taylor of the Lexington police reported that the woman was rushed to a hospital for urgent care. The driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police. No charges have been filed yet, but the investigation is ongoing.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit was called to the site to investigate the circumstances of the accident further.
