Lincoln County, MO (December 4, 2024) – A serious crash occurred on the morning of December 3rd, 2024, at Southbound US 61 and North Lincoln Dr. The accident involved two vehicles and resulted in significant injuries to two individuals.

The driver of the Jeep, failing to yield the right of way, entered the intersection in front of a 2011 Nissan Titan, which was traveling southbound on US 61. The front of the Nissan Titan collided with the driver's side of the Jeep, causing significant damage to both vehicles.
The 66-year-old female occupant of the Jeep was seriously injured in the crash. Emergency responders from Lincoln County Ambulance District transported her to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis for treatment of moderate injuries. The 77-year-old driver of the Jeep, who also sustained moderate injuries, was also transported to the hospital.
The 70-year-old driver of the Nissan Titan, from Eolia, MO, suffered serious injuries. He was also taken by Lincoln County Ambulance District to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis for medical care.
Both vehicles were totaled in the crash and were towed from the scene by Priority 1 Towing. The investigation indicates that the driver of the Jeep failed to yield when crossing the road, causing the collision.
