Lincoln, NE – Fatal Collision on Nebraska Pkwy & 20th St

Lincoln, NE (November 21, 2023) – A tragic crash on Nebraska Parkway claimed the life of Ryley Costello, 32, from Lincoln, on Monday afternoon, November 20. The accident occurred at the intersection with 20th Street.

According to the report, Costello, driving a maroon Chevy Impala, failed to yield while turning onto Nebraska Parkway and was hit by a white pickup. Both drivers were rushed to the hospital, but Costello succumbed to his injuries.

The pickup driver, a 38-year-old man from Crete, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Lincoln Police have ruled out drugs or alcohol as factors in the crash. The incident led to a four-hour closure of Nebraska Parkway in the vicinity. Investigations into the accident are ongoing.
