Lindenhurst, NY – Three Hospitalized After Two-Car Crash Damages House on Straight Path and Laurel Rd

Lindenhurst, NY (April 3, 2024) – A collision between a Honda Accord and a Toyota Prius injured three and damaged a house on Monday, April 1, at 4:49 p.m. The accident occurred at the intersection of Straight Path and Laurel Rd in North Lindenhurst. Suffolk County police report that the Accord, heading west on Laurel Rd, veered into the Prius in the southbound lanes of Straight Path. The Prius then crashed through a fence and hit a home’s corner.

All three Prius occupants and the Accord driver received hospital care for injuries. Thankfully, no house occupants were harmed. A building inspector is evaluating the house damage.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.
