Lingle, WY (September 13, 2023) – A devastating two-vehicle collision occurred north of Lingle on Friday, September 8, 2023.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol received reports of the accident at 3:45 p.m. near milepost 112 on U.S. Route 85.

A 2023 Toyota Camry, driven by Alicia Rodriguez, 44, of Torrington, was traveling south.

Meanwhile, a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica minivan headed north.

The Chrysler unexpectedly veered across the center line, crashing head-on into the Toyota.

Tragically, this crash contributed to four fatalities in Wyoming over the Labor Day weekend.

This incident brought the state’s road death toll to 100 for the year.

The investigation is still ongoing.
