Linthicum, MD (March 19, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident took place in Anne Arundel County late Saturday evening that resulted in injuries. At approximately 9:15 p.m. on March 18, emergency officials responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 695.
Reports from authorities show that a total of four vehicles collided on the Beltway in the area near Maryland State Route 295. The crash shut down the outer loop of the Beltway, causing severe delays in the area.
At least one person was ejected from the vehicle. One person was located at the scene in trauma arrest. Two people suffered injuries due to the accident.
The condition of the injured victims is not known at this time.
The crash remains under investigation by the Maryland State police.
