Logan Heights, CA – Chain-Reaction Collision on Southbound Interstate 5 Injures One

Logan Heights, CA (July 25, 2023) – On July 24, 2023, a chain reaction accident involving three vehicles began with a rear-end collision on southbound Interstate 5 in Logan Heights.

Just before noon, a white van driven by a man was reported to have collided with a Ford Ranger, sending the pickup flying backward into another vehicle.

The Ranger flipped over and caught fire after the collision, and the flames quickly spread to the third vehicle.

Everybody exited the burning cars before the fire departments arrived.

The Ranger’s male driver was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

The severity of his injuries is unknown at this time.
