Long County, GA – Fatal Crash Takes One Life, Injures Two Others on Lee Place Rd

Long County, GA (February 3, 2021) – One person lost their life and two others were seriously injured in a two-car crash that occurred in Long County at around 2:20 on the afternoon of Monday, February 1. Troopers were dispatched to the scene of the accident on Lee Place Road. 

Reports reveal that a vehicle allegedly failed to maintain its lane and was involved in a head-on collision with another car headed in the opposite direction. The vehicles involved were identified as a Chevy Suburban and a white Dodge Ram. 

The impact of the collision caused the truck to be forced off of the roadway where it flipped over into a wooded ditch. One victim, identified as Stacey Goeller, a resident of Ludowici, aged 50, lost her life in the fatal crash. 

Two other individuals, who remain unidentified at this time, sustained injuries in the accident. Their identities have not been disclosed.
