Lordsburg, NM (March 26, 2021) – According to authorities, two Fulshear police officers were injured during a plane crash that took place in the area of Lordsburg. It happened at an unspecified time on Wednesday, March 24th.

Officials say that Officer Adam Shoof was piloting a small aircraft from Texas to California when the plane crashed in southwestern New Mexico. It took emergency responders approximately four hours to locate the wreckage.

Crews pulled Shoof and Officer Dillon Rice from the area and transported them to a nearby hospital in El Paso. Both victims have been listed in serious condition.

One other victim was also injured in the crash but no word has been reported on their current condition. An investigation into the cause of this accident remains under investigation.
