Los Angeles, CA – Car Crashes into Palms Homeless Camp from Santa Monica 10 Freeway Off Ramp; 5 Injured

Los Angeles, CA (July 26, 2023) – A car veered off the westbound Santa Monica 10 Freeway’s National Boulevard off-ramp and crashed into a Palms homeless camp early Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, five individuals in the vehicle sustained injuries during the collision at 2:20 a.m. on July 26.

Firefighters and paramedics promptly responded to the scene, finding five people in the car with injuries.

Three victims were trapped and in serious condition, while the others were in fair condition.

No injuries were reported among the occupants at the homeless camp.

All five injured individuals were transported to hospitals without information about their ages or genders.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
