Lucerne, CA (September 14, 2023) – A head-on crash on Tuesday evening, September 12, 2023, claimed the life of a motorcyclist.

James Andrew Eble II, 43, rode his 2005 Harley-Davidson west on SR 20 near Rosemont Drive.

Around 7:06 p.m., he crossed the eastbound lane, colliding with a 2020 Dodge 5500 truck.

33-year-old Spencer Langenback drove the truck, with John Tirri, 26, as a passenger.

Emergency teams pronounced Eble dead at the scene.

No other injuries occurred.

The investigation is still ongoing.
