Lucerne Valley, CA (September 19, 2023) – Joseph Dalee McCool, 37, died in a motorcycle crash around 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, at Old Woman Springs Road and Santa Fe Fire Road.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, Joseph collided with a white pickup truck with a trailer.

The truck was turning left onto Santa Fe Fire Road when the crash happened.

Firefighters found Joseph, a Yucca Valley resident, unresponsive on the road.

He was declared dead at the scene.

The specific cause of the collision remains unclear.

The investigation is still ongoing.
